Interactions and micro interactions can often make or break the usability of your design. Fortunately there’s a way to get ahead of this problem through rapid prototyping research. Rapid prototyping applies an iterative approach to the design stage in order to quickly improve the design using regularly updated prototypes in multiple short cycles. This process can help unblock design work faster as well as reduce potential throwaway work for developers.
In this session, we’ll hear about best practices for: (1) when to run this type of research (2) how to set up the research process, and (3) scoping your prototype(s). Throughout this talk Christa and Heather will share real examples from a recent project they worked on together to rapidly iterate and test different prototypes in order to launch an (exciting) upcoming feature!
A deep-dive into the tactics, processes, and systems that keep teams running.
