Agenda
The Config agenda spans two days and is made up of keynotes and breakout sessions. We are excited to start and end both days all together at our opening and closing keynotes. The rest of each day’s agenda is broken up into breakout sessions that you can choose from. All breakouts are 30 minutes, with 10 minute breaks in between. We know it will be hard to choose, but have no fear — all talks will be recorded and will be shared out a month after the event.

During the 2020 U.S. presidential election, the Biden-Harris design team designed everything from JoeBiden.com, to the campaign plane, to the stage design — all in one Figma file, all together. Robyn Kanner, Creative Director of the Biden-Harris design team, shares how they managed the pressure and speed of the historical digital-first election, through the lens of her personal reflections: on leaning into serenity, why letting go of ownership led to stronger communication, and the way it changed her own relationship with design.

Closing keynote, day 2
We’ve all faced adversity — especially in 2020. Dantley Davis, Chief Design Officer at Twitter, will reflect on the impact of adversity personally and how 2020 emphasized the existential challenges facing tech and digital products, sharing why designers are uniquely positioned to mitigate these challenges using their design training and personal experience.
